Created in 2009, Altercap focuses on investment opportunities on the European credit market.

Altercap concentrates on senior or second-lien LBO loans issued by medium-sized European companies (enterprise value between €150m and €2bn).

Altercap I focuses on buying up the holdings of lenders compelled to sell off their assets to reduce their own levels of debt and/or restore liquidity.

Altercap is a long-term investment that holds receivables until full repayment. This strategy is, of course, based on full credit analysis in order to limit risk and maximise capital retention.

In accordance with LBO France's development strategy, Altercap has a dedicated team operating from Paris and London. Working in close proximity to both the domestic market and its London operation, the Altercap team puts its excellent knowledge of the European LBO market to good use in order to identify and deliver the best investment opportunities.

The expertise of the team, its experience of group work and legitimate vocation allow LBO France to implement a disciplined funds strategy for Altercap investors. Altercap's experienced team is also backed up by more than 8 professionals to cover the specific functions of investor relations, finance and accounting / management.
