We measure the effectiveness of our approach and report on it in complete transparency, in a process of continuous improvement.
We are convinced that progress is made through a commitment on the terrain. LBO France's commitment is to help the companies we support in the concrete achievement of their social and environmental ambitions, particularly energy transition, decarbonization and value sharing. We support collective actions, LBO France is one of the founding members of the international climate initiative, one of the first signatories of France Invest' charter for parity and the charter for sharing value.
Our roadmap
A solid ESG & Climate foundation supported by all teams
Tailored approaches for each investment vertical
For each of these strategies, we have defined adapted ESG analysis and reporting tools and have designed ESG engagement mechanisms that are as close as possible to the needs and possibilities of our stakeholders. ESG and climate performance is a lever for creating operational and long-term value for our investments: this resolute conviction inspires our analyses and roadmaps.
Active and voluntary commitment to the climate
As a member of the Climate International Initiative (ICI), LBO France is committed to integrating climate change analysis into investment processes. LBO France recognises that some of the companies and assets in its portfolio may be at the origin of climate change impacts and be exposed to physical and transition risks. ICI members are collectively committed to contributing to the Paris Agreement's goal of limiting global warming to well below two degrees Celsius.
In 2024, LBO France further increased its engagement with portfolio companies on their climate-related topics. We provided resources and advice to the holdings in order to assess their carbon footprints (Scopes 1, 2 and 3) and from there, to initiate reduction trajectories.

Teams at the heart of our ESG approach
With around sixty employees, LBO France dedicates independent human resources to each of its activities. Each team therefore develops its own expertise and is fully responsible for the management of its area of excellence. The circulation of information, the sharing of experiences and good practices are permanent sources of inspiration, performance and collective effectiveness.
As signatories of the France Invest Parity Charter, we are committed to gender equality and the promotion of female talent.
